Technical Recruiter (AI & Biotech)

The Role

As our Technical Recruiter, you will be the engine behind our growth. You will be responsible for sourcing, vetting, and closing world-class talent across two of the most competitive industries in the world: Artificial Intelligence and Biotechnology.

You will manage a complex pipeline of Full-Time Employees (FTEs) and high-level Contractors, ensuring that every hire meets the "TECQMIND Standard" of technical excellence and consultative professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage the end-to-end hiring process, from initial sourcing and technical screening to offer negotiation and onboarding.

  • Niche Sourcing: Proactively hunt for "passive" candidates in highly specialized fields, including MLOps, RAG/LLM development, Bioinformatics, and FDA Regulatory Affairs.

  • Pipeline Diversity: Manage recruitment for multiple employment models, including internal corporate roles, independent contractors, and "deployed" consultants who work directly with our clients.

  • Technical Vetting: Conduct deep-dive initial interviews to assess technical literacy, cultural fit, and the candidate’s ability to work in a client-facing consultative environment.

  • Hiring Manager Partnership: Work closely with our technical leads and Director of Global Delivery to define job requirements and provide real-time market data on salary trends and talent availability.

  • Brand Ambassadorship: Articulate the TECQMIND value proposition—explaining our unique US-Taiwan bridge model and our focus on production-scale implementation.

  • Candidate Experience: Ensure every candidate has a premium experience, reflecting the high-end, professional nature of our services.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: 4+ years of technical recruiting experience, ideally with a mix of agency and in-house experience.

  • Industry Knowledge: Proven track record of hiring for AI/ML, Data Engineering, or Software Engineeringroles. Familiarity with the Biotech/Life Sciences landscape is a major plus.

  • Sourcing Mastery: Expert-level skills in LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, StackOverflow, and other specialized platforms to find non-obvious talent.

  • Process Oriented: Experience using modern Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) like Greenhouse, Lever, or Ashby to maintain a clean and data-driven pipeline.

  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English skills. You must be able to write "hook" messages that actually get responses from high-level engineers.

  • Adaptability: Comfortable shifting focus between high-level executive searches (Fractional CTOs) and specialized engineering roles.

Preferred Skills

  • Previous experience in a staffing or professional services firm.

  • Understanding of international hiring logistics (working with global talent pools).

  • Familiarity with AI-powered recruiting tools and automation.
